Overview

Casa de Amigos is truly a beautiful condo with privacy and amazing views. A luxurious open spaced home the first thing our guests encounter when walking through the front door. If you are looking for a tropical adult or family retreat, look no further.

The ocean view living area is spacious and is outfitted with a huge L shaped couch, colorful throw pillows and opens to the patio. The living area shares the open floor plan with a dining area that will easily seat six people around a magnificent old growth wood table. A fully equipped gourmet kitchen has everything you need to make meals at home including a full size refrigerator, oven and dishwasher. The whole condo opens up via double sized sliding glass pocket doors to the large terrace that looks over the Caribbean. The terrace is outfitted with brand new furniture and a Weber Q gas grill. The ocean views and tropical easterly breezes entice guests to spend plenty of relaxation time here.

The spacious master bedroom has a pillowtop king size bed, large private bath with a oversized Jacuzzi tub. The washer dryer is located here as well, tucked into a private closet. The guest bedroom has a pillowtop Queen bed and an en suite bath that has a glass block and marble step-in shower. Each bedroom has luxury sheets and towels, a ceiling fan, and individual mini split zone controlled A/C.

Casa de Amigos is lined with marble tiled floors, granite and marble counter tops, zone controlled air conditioning and amazing handpicked Mexican artwork. We mentioned earlier that this is a wonderful adult retreat; it is also perfect for families with mature children. Casa de Amigos also has a flat panel Smart TV that is WIFI connected with a Netflix account and password in place.

The landscaped grounds offer two very large pools and sandy beach on Fatima Bay. A five minute walk down the beach takes you into downtown Puerto Aventuras where you will find shopping, restaurants, coffee shops, an internet cafe, a Dolphin Discovery “swim with the Dolphins” center, dive shops, parasailing outfits and fishing boat charters. There is no need for a rental car if you plan to remain in Puerto for your stay. For trips outside of the town, taxis are easily found near the Omni Hotel. There is a Chedraui grocery store 1KM up the highway from the entrance to Puerto Aventuras.

The town of Puerto Aventuras is a gated community located just 15 minutes south of Playa del Carmen where you will find a lively nightlife, a wide selection of restaurants and larger stores such as WalMart, Sam’s Club, Mega and Soriana’s, the newest grocery store. Also nearby are popular attractions such as the Mayan village at Coba, the ruins of Tulum, Xel Ha, Xcaret, Zipline tours, golf and ATV jungle tours, to name just a few.
