The kitchen is fully equipped with all the modern conveniences, enabling you and your guest to make in house meals. Or if you wish to be pampered, have some regional fare prepared and served to you. The dining room has a large wooden table and eight comfortable chairs. The living room has wicker sofas with brightly colored pillows, a two story domed cupola ceiling and glass sliding doors looking out to the ocean.

Step through the glass doors from the living and dining areas to the covered patio and pool area. A wooden gazebo is next to the pool, providing some extra shade and fabulous ocean views. Beyond the pool is a small lawn and walkways leading to individual sun decks and the beach. There are chaise loungers and a shade umbrella as well.

On the main level of the home is the ocean view master suite with a king bed, a large ensuite bath, plenty of closet space and sliding glass doors that open to the Caribbean breezes. The nearly identical upstairs master suite offers a king bed, oversized bath with double sinks, shower and soaking tub. This bedroom also has a private, oceanfront balcony. The third ocean view bedroom has a king bed, private bath and a very large oceanfront balcony. The fourth bedroom has two queen beds, a private bath, and enormous panoramic windows with jungle views. There is also a private balcony.

Jade Bay has crystal clear waters, god reef snorkeling and is a popular nesting spot for endangered sea turtles. It is not uncommon at night during the summer and fall months to see mothers laying eggs or nests hatching. If you are lucky enough to witness one of these natural events, please do not disturb them by using bright lights or flash cameras.

While private and quiet, Jade Bay is only a short stroll along the beach to the heart of Akumal, with shops and restaurants, diving facilities, and much more. There are plenty of adventures to be had in the area; visit Xel Ha, go swimming in cenotes, catch billfish on a day of fishing, go parasailing, the possibilities are endless.
