Upon entering the 7 bedroom, 7 bath luxury villa through the grand, hand carved front entrance doors, travelers are greeted to an open style floor plan and the blue of the Caribbean Sea beaming in through the all glass beachside wall. To the left is a spacious living room with large, comfortable seating and a huge flat panel TV.
To the center is the dining room with a grand, family style rectangular hardwood table and plenty of seating for the whole group. The living room and dining room share a high, back lit, vaulted ceiling of intricate brick work, known as “cupola style”. To the right is the large and well equipped kitchen with a center island and an oversized breakfast nook area.
Zone controlled air conditioning and ceiling fans will keep the Villa cool on even the warmest days when the Caribbean breezes are at bay. A mix of marble, tropical hardwoods and dry set stone work provide a perfect backdrop for the entire interior.
There are seven bedrooms, with four that have King Beds. The oceanfront master has an ensuite bath, beautiful stonework, flat panel TV, and a private terrace that is gorgeous. The other three King bedrooms have private baths, TV’s, plenty of closest space and quality linens. Bedrooms 5, 6 and 7 are made up of two Queen Beds, all with private bathrooms and plenty of closet space.
Outside on the Playa del Carmen beach side is a covered terrace that runs the length of basically the entire house. There is a dining area, plenty of loungers, shade umbrellas, and yes, the infinity pool that ends at the beach and seems to meld with the sea. Need we say more?
The international city of Playa del Carmen is a 10 minute walk down the beach. There one can find a plethora of restaurants the range from cheap street eats to uber gourmet. 5th Avenue, the open air shopping mall, comes alive in the late afternoon and into the night. There is shopping, street vendors, performers, clubs, dancing, local watering holes and of course, the beach. For those who want to do some exploring in the area there is plenty to do. Take a ferry ride out of Playa del Carmen to Cozumel for the day, play golf at one of the many nearby golf clubs, go for a Jungle ATV ride, zipline, swim in cenotes and more!
