Chac Hal Al condominiums were the first to be built after the conception of Puerto Aventuras in the mid 1980’s. A U shaped complex is composed of several 4 story individual buildings, half of which face the ocean and the other half facing the marina. The buildings are identified by letter, with B, C, D, E, and F being Caribbean beach front units. Building A is on the point facing the north entrance of the marina. Buildings G, H, I and J face the Puerto Aventuras marina.
There are two pools at Chac Hal Al; the main pool faces the ocean and is a zero entry style, excellent for families with young children requiring adult supervision. There are shade palapas and loungers for guest use only surrounding the pool and along the beach front areas. The second pool on the north end of the complex offers a little more privacy as it garners less usage. The coral reef that protects the bay offers exceptional snorkeling. Kayaks are available for rent next door at the Omni hotel.
